These are a grouping of forces with greater military power than the typical Sector Fleet placed under a single command.

Conciquecially, a Senior Captain in command of a Ship-of-the-Line often does not command a Line of ships except when detached from the larger fleet unit.Īrmada - large percentage of the Navy usually equaling an entire WDA Regiment's strength and so commanded by Star Colonelsīattlegroup - an ad hoc formation that does not meet standard formation ship numbers, applied to a naval force gathered for a campaign that consists of several Sector or System Fleets drawn from different Commands, commanded by the campaign CO.Ĭommand - Major sub-unit of a Regiment commanded by a senior Regimental officer with the rank of Grand Moff or possibly a Grand Admiral. In fact, a single Ship-of-the-Line is considered the equivalent of a Line by itself, and as such Lines are usually used for the grouping of smaller ships and support groups. Note that as formations become smaller, the number of large ships such as Ships-of-the-Line, dramatically decreases, such that while Sector Fleets many have a dozen Ships-of-the-Line, a single Line will have 1 at most. Given the WDA's individualism and love of technology, it not uncommon for flagships to be specially painted and/or be outfitted with various upgrades, such as compliments of advance starfighters, sophisticated comms equipment, stealth paint, battlefield holographic control interface (BHCI), compact gravity well projectors, long-range turbolasers (usually only found on SSDs, but may be installed on Ships-of-the-Line) even metal crystal phase shifters or cloaking devices. The Ships-of-the-Line & Heavy Cruisers form the backbone of the Navy, with the core being the Star Dreadnoughts and Battlecruisers that are used as command ships. The Wolves often use havod alloy, a crimson colored armor alloy made famous by the Empire's Crimson Command, to decorated the hulls of their warships with their primary faction color.

Their vast navy is often referred to as "The Red Armada" due to the red and black wolf symbols often painted on their ships.

WDA Navy Wolf's Dragoons use a vast variety of ships in their regimental navies, although there is a clear favoritism towards Imperial and Clone Wars designs.
